HEINZ-GLAS Decor celebrates its 30th anniversary

Decoration plant in Hranice looks back on three decades of positive development

It has now been 30 years since HEINZ-GLAS established a site in Hranice, the westernmost town in the Czech Republic. One year after its foundation, in 1996, production began at the finishing plant, which has been continuously developed and expanded ever since. HEINZ-GLAS currently employs around 450 people at its Czech site.

A wide range of finishing options can be realised here, including screen printing, hot stamping, spraying and metallising. Within the group, the Hranice site has established itself as an automation centre. The glass hardening process is also used there and is set to be further developed in the future. Last year, a new sorting centre was opened in another building, also located in Hranice.

Numerous guests recently gathered to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Czech site, including three generations of the owner family, the management, numerous senior employees, HD employees and representatives from local politics, the regional economy and banks. Country Director Pavel Istenik welcomed everyone and showed how the site has changed with a historical photo and video presentation from 1995 to today. In a short speech, CEO and owner Carletta Heinz highlighted the positive development of the plant and thanked all employees and partners for their commitment over the past 30 years. She emphasised that this joint achievement had only been possible thanks to the commitment of each and every individual.

To get an overview of the diverse and high-quality decorations, the anniversary guests were then given a detailed tour of the plant.
