Earth Hour 2026 – Making a statement together at HEINZ GLASS

WWF Earth Hour on 28 March 2026 at 8:30 p.m.

WWF Earth Hour 2026 will take place on 28 March at 8:30 p.m. – a global campaign in which millions of people, cities and businesses switch off their lights for an hour to send a joint message about climate and environmental protection. We at HEINZ‑GLAS would also like to take this opportunity to raise awareness and show that sustainability is a central part of our values. As a family-owned company with over 400 years of tradition, we know how important it is to take responsibility – for future generations, our environment, and for the regions in which we live and work.

In recent months, climate change has noticeably lost attention in the public eye. At the same time, it remains one of the greatest challenges of our time – and one that will directly affect our children and grandchildren. That is precisely why it is important that we, as a company and as a community, continue to take a stand.

How can you get involved?

Turn off your lights for one hour on 28 March at 8:30 p.m. – at home or on the go.

Use the hour consciously: for quiet, reflection or a conversation about what connects us.

Earth Hour is more than a symbolic act. It reminds us that every contribution counts – and that we can achieve a great deal as a team. Especially at a time when society often focuses on what divides us, it is all the more important to send a positive message together.

Many thanks to everyone who is participating and supporting Earth Hour 2026!

In this way, we are demonstrating what HEINZ GLAS stands for: responsibility, solidarity and a focus on the future.
