Kleintettau/New York. This year, LUXE PACK New York hosted not just one, but two luxury packaging competitions. After the winners of the Dieline Awards were announced on 8 May, the winners of the LUXE PACK in green awards were chosen on the second day of the trade fair.
HEINZ-GLAS is very proud to have won in the category ‘Best CSR Initiative’. The specially developed Product Carbon Footprint Tool (PCF Tool) convinced the expert jury. How big is the Product Carbon Footprint of a bottle? How much greenhouse gas emissions are caused by this packaging during the value chain? With the PCF tool, the CO2 emissions of one of the HEINZ-GLAS Group's products can be determined variably during its development process. This way, the company wants to offer its customers the opportunity to adapt the design, shape and decoration in such a way that the smallest possible CO2 footprint is achieved.
